Press Release from All About Country!

The Tunesmith 2010 Andy Griggs Challenge Is On
Songwriters Compete To Get Andy To Cut Their Song
When you're attending <A href="http://www.crb.org/" target=_blank>CRS 2010, take some time to check out theTunesmith 2010 Andy Griggs Challenge at the Embassy Suites Hotel/Nashville.
Songwriters from all over the U.S. and Canada will be trying to impress Andy Griggs with a song they write during the event.
Here's how it all works: Andy will be present at a Meet and Greet on Thursday (2/25)) evening and explain to the competing songwriters the EXACT song he is looking for to record. The songwriters, then, have until 3PM Saturday (2/27) to write the song that will impress Andy. The Finals will be at the Hollywood Disco/Nashville, just a few blocks from the Hotel. Andy Griggs will be part of an all star music industry judges panel that will choose the best song.
Judges will be Industry Professionals, Hit Songwriters and Publishers and Chris Conn, host of the syndicated Conman Radio Show on Dial Global.
The Songwriting Teams will perform their songs LIVE for the judging. Following that, Andy will perform acoustically in a LIVE Internet Broadcast with the winning songwriters doing an encore performance of their song.
The winning song will be recorded and released by Andy Griggs and receive immediate national airplay on the Conman Radio Show. The event is limited to just 60-songwriters. Get much more info at by clicking here. </B>
